my new thing has been just… acting on my ideas. like i thought maybe my desk would look better on a different part of my room so i like. moved it? just like that! i ripped an old anatomy book and stuck the diagrams up on my wall like some kind of old timey victorian doctor. i wanted a starbucks and i walked one and a half miles back and forth in a floridian storm and goddamn it was a good coffee. life is too short babey if you think of something just do it. nike

This was weirdly motivating

not gonna lie, i’m changed bc of this

“Toward the end of my walk, I came to the conclusion that I really appreciate the steps taken to reach goals. I honor the work, I like the journey, I cherish the results, but I always find something in the end result that enlightens me. In every preparation there is a lesson to be learned. With every lesson, I’m inspired to try again for a better result.”

when you hate your legs
remember that they carried you through the hardest parts of your life. they get you out of bed every day and take you to what you love.

when you hate your stomach
remember that it helped you gain strength. it holds the memories of deep laughter and great meals. it is full of warmth and joy.

when you hate your arms
remember that they are strong, which makes you strong. but they are also soft and can be used to cuddle and hold the ones you love.

When you hate your body

Remember that it is just a shell. It is not who you are. It is simply what you are today. It says nothing about your character or your most cherished qualities.

When you hate yourself

Remember that hate is a lot closer to love than indifference. You CARE about your body and it deserves to be taken care of. You can choose to find the hate, or alternatively you can choose to find the love.
